Boca Ciega Millennium Park is located in Seminole, Florida,
in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area.
The park is 182 beautiful acres and contains several distinct natural communities:
pine flatwoods, coastal oak hammock, mangrove swamp, salt marsh, bay head and wetlands.
It was officially completed in March 2001, but it continues to evolve.
Visitors should note that
drought-resistant native Florida plants are extensively used
for landscaping in the park. The main entrance
is an excellent example--visually effective, and
well adapted to Florida weather too.
